Luis Neves History

Luís Neves, born in a suburb of Lisbon, Portugal, came to the U.S. in the early 70's. He brought with him his Portuguese heritage, his love for his culture and a "Golden" voice. Throughout the years Luis has fronted Portuguese and American bands such as the Insiders, Sixth Avenue, Future and Brat to name a few. In 1990 Luis, tired of the American nightclub scene, felt it was time to get back to his Portuguese roots and started Centerfold.

Centerfold, now with a the lineup (Mário Ferreira, guitar; Abílio (Billy) Carreiro, bass; Al Guedes, drums; Roberto Lima, keyboards, has been creating and playing Portuguese Music for Portuguese People everywhere.
